Hello! I hope you are enjoying May so far. I'm enjoying the real start to spring. The little buds emerging, daffodils, garden greens starting. I even like all the work that comes with this time of year, especially before the black flies come out.
This month is when things really start to feel alive!
Here is the May Menu and some new additions to try out. Plus a little Mother's day chat and giveaway to enter!

New items to try this month: raspberry muffins with chocolate hazelnut, lemon lavender loaf, and BAGELS!
Plus your familiar and delicious regulars: brownies with white chocolate drizzle and crushed rose petals, cookies in a variety of flavours (yes, you can mix flavours for a dozen), and my favorite gluten-free sandwich bread.
Get your orders in by Thursday's for Saturday pick up. This weekend is mother's day! Get your favourite gluten-free free items to share or hint at your partners on what to get you 😉
Next weekend, May 16th, there will be no Saturday pick up as I'll be away. You can make an order for Thursday, May 14th, pick up. Please get orders in by Tuesday that week.

Gluten-free, wheat-free Bagels! They are so good!
The gluten-free bagels have been a great success! I went from my 1st trial to my first big order of 40 bagels! I actually really enjoy the processes of making them. From shaping the dough, to boiling the bagels, to adding toppings. I especially like eating them!
They are so good toasted. If you'd like to freeze them, I suggest, slice before freezing for an easy toast defrost and they are as good as fresh!
Thanks for all the enthusiasm and positive feedback I've got on these bagels. I love to hear about it! I even got a few pictures of your breakfast bagel creations! I made a bagel burger the other night with mine. Yum!
As far as breads go, I am keeping the sandwich bread on the menu but have removed the rustic loaf. I feel as though the rustic loaf isn't as popular and I'd rather just focus on two kinds of breads at a time. Breads can be time consuming and oven time and space consuming!

I have been thinking a lot about mothers. A big part of why is because I am a relatively new mother and am pregnant with my second child. Of course, there are all kinds of people out in the world and therefore all kinds of mothers. Some are great and some are not and some are doing their best. I've been blessed with a great mom myself c:
It's an intense transition and transformation to have and care for a child and in many ways I'm still adjusting to the changing me.
